Prior to joining Lieef, Julien interned at PIMCO as a Summer Product Analyst where he developed a multi-strategy model to optimize hedge fund allocations. Following this, he spent his senior year as a Growth Equity Analyst at TVC Capital, where he helped executed growth equity investments and sourced acquisition prospects.

Julien began his post-graduate career in 2021 at OneDigital, a portfolio company of Onex Partners. At OneDigital, Julien worked directly with the EVP of Corporate Development and played a key role in executing nearly 30 bolt-on acquisitions, totaling over $125 million of enterprise value. He was actively involved in every stage of the transaction process—from deal sourcing and financial modeling to pro forma synergy analysis and managing legal teams. Julien actively participated in all board-level discussions with Onex and helped shape the company’s acquisition strategy.

After OneDigital, Julien became an Associate at B. Riley Securities where he helped manage deal execution and client relationships. He was responsible for creating Confidential Information Memorandums, managing buyer lists and market outreach, and building robust financial models across multiple industries. Julien helped close four deals totaling over $250 million of enterprise value.

For the last two years, Julien has also helped manage family assets, focusing on real estate investments where he handles financial modeling and sponsor communication.

Julien graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a degree in finance and was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu honor society of Jesuit colleges and universities.
